[edit] Rewrite

Rewrote article removing several subjective and unencyclopedic comments, including

  • "The joyous forward momentum and the melodious ideas found in this uplifting score have endeared it to choral societies and audiences alike."
  • "is the finest of all his Missae brevis'"
  • "That said, Mozart does write in quite daringly unrelated keys, which would have been quite a shock to 18th century audiences"
  • "There are many examples of truly inspired use of soloists as a quartet"

These have been removed and I contacted the author on his/her talk page to discuss some of the editorial issues, including neutral point of view. -- MarkBuckles 06:24, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
