Kräuterlikör

Kräuterlikör (Spiced Liqueur or Herb Liqueur) is a kind of German liquor, spiced with herbs and sweetened with sugar. It usually contains normally around 30-35% alcohol. The best-known brand is Jägermeister.

The history of Kräuterlikör goes back to the medieval ages when the mix of alcohol and herbs was thought to have healing powers.
