Kozlovsky District

Kozlovsky District (Russian: Козло́вский райо́н; Chuvash: Куславкка районĕ) is a district (raion) of the Chuvash Republic, Russia. The district's administrative center, the town of Kozlovka, is located 97 kilometers (60 mi) from Chuvashia's capital city of Cheboksary. District's area: 516.8 square kilometers (199.5 sq mi). District's population: 26,388 (2002 Census); 27,141 (1989 Census).

The district was formed on September 5, 1927. It is situated in the north-east of Chuvashia, bordering the Republic of Tatarstan in the east and south-east, Urmarsky District in the west and south-west, Tsivilsky District in the west, and Mariinsky District in the north-west.

The Head of the District Administration is Ivan Grigoryevich Mayorov.
