Koyambedu junction

Koyambedu junction or otherwise called the Koyambedu Roundtana is an important road junction in Chennai, state of Tamil Nadu, India. It is located north of the Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus at the junction of the Inner Ring Road and the Poonamallee High Road (NH4) in the Koyambedu area/ locality. The junction is a part of the Golden Quadrilateral project taken up under the National Highways Development Project.
[edit] Koyambedu Grade Separator
A grade separator is currently under construction by the National Highways Authority of India to decongest the junction which is heavily utilised by interstate buses. The construction of the flyover was delayed due to problems in acquiring land that was occupied by Tamil Nadu MLA Vijaykanth.
Koyambedu Intersects two major roads Ponamallee High Road and 100 Feet Road (or Inner Ring Road or Jawaharlal Nehru Road), at the intersection you will find hotels like Chennai Gateway & Shan Royal. You also have a consulting firm at the junction Cynosure Corporate Solutions
