[edit] Esperanza MfD
Thanks for taking a moment to take a shot at pointing me in the right direction to figure things out — you were the only one to do so, and I appreciate it... even thought it looks like it's gonna be a pretty complex issue to try following now, so far into things. Anyway, thanks. Tijuana Brass 02:13, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

- I'm more than happy to help out. It's good to see people trying to actually understand the situation fully. The discussion really could have used more of it. 02:20, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re: don't insult editors
A discussion of the problem can be found here.
I think the term "detailed nerdage" is suitably descriptive, and the instruction not to append "information" is probably too vague, possibly risking a backlash from editors who consider this instruction too restricting.
While there is probably a compound word (x + "cruft") that might be more suitable, I don't consider the term "nerdage" insulting. / edgarde 01:46, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Xbox Handheld
You participated in an AfD for Xbox Handheld. I re-wrote the article as a stub and provided sources. Please take a look at the re-written article Xbox Handheld and comment at the AfD discussion [1] Alan Shatte 22:47, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Macromedia_HomeSite.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Macromedia_HomeSite.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. MECU≈talk 22:28, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] World's Smallest Political Quiz userbox
You may be interested in User:Audacity/Userboxes/WSPQ, which is a replacement for the old Political Chart userbox. The new userbox takes the two variables (economic and personal freedom), calculates which political alignment they place you into (Statist, Libertarian, Liberal, Centrist, or Conservative), and links your userpage to the appropriate category.
Please reply to User talk:Audacity, as I will not be watching your talk page. Λυδαcιτγ 07:42, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] LGBT project, rating
Hi, Koweja1! Thanks for adding that banner! Would you rate the articles while you're doing it? We usually have 0 "unassessed" articles (out of 5,200), which is impressive :) Thanks! -- SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 17:47, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Minor edit
Your removal of star trek nav boxes should not be considered a minor edit. A minor edit is for edits that would rarely be considered contentious like spelling fixes. Cburnett 20:40, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry about that. Koweja 04:01, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] TNG
Thanks for putting me straight on TNG navigation! --Steve (Slf67) talk 03:05, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- No problem. Koweja 04:01, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] newly tagged articles
I changed the WP:LGBT list back to fifteen entries. If I remember your concern correctly, you didn't want the articles to fall off too quickly when many are added, correct? But I think we were in a hot flash at that time; after SatyrTN found about a thousand untagged articles, things have slowed down. Consequently, the articles are actually falling off faster at seven days. If you think it should be changed back for a different reason, though, that's still open. — coelacan — 20:01, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
- I think when you suggested it they were being bumped off too soon. After Satyr's mass-tagging though, that's slowed down and I don't really expect it to speed up significantly again; we've tagged most of what was left out. Thanks for the input =) — coelacan — 21:38, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] B.R.I.T.T.A.N.I.C.A
You are obviously a careful, thoughtful editor, so I would not ask you to change your vote or anything like that. I would ask however, if you have the time, to revisit the article and the discussion. All controversial material has been removed, and the flawed report of it's prior deletion (it was never deleted), and the encyclopedia reference have been addressed. [edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Applephotobooth2.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Applephotobooth2.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MER-C 09:39, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Ex and the City
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Ex and the City, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}}
