Kourambiedes (Greek: κουραμπιές, plural κουραμπιέδες) is a popular Greek pastry. It is made of baked dough sometimes containing almonds and sprinkled with powdered sugar. It is also common to stick a piece of clove on top; however, it is just for flavor and should be removed before eating.
