[edit] Ordinal Classification
Hi! I see from your user name that you may be the one who authored the paper from which the above article is taken. If so, you have to confirm this before the article can be posted. You should send an email from an address associated with the source website to the OTRS staff at "permissions-en AT wikimedia DOT org". Once they confirm that everything is in order, they will insert a confirmation template on the article's talk page. I have blanked the article pending confirmation of this permission. Once the OTRS folks install the template, the article can be unblanked by simply reverting my blanking. Thanks for your contribution and your attention to this process. -- But|seriously|folks 01:47, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
- If you do so, please also insert a note on the article's talk page, so that nobody deletes it while we're waiting for OTRS to catch up. It's now on the top of the "copyright issues to be considered" list, and I see that you're back.... --Alvestrand 18:16, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Please do not add this kind of references
I saw that you have added references to Bioinformatics and Cheminformatics. I personally do not like those references, because they are rather application articles then key citations of the field. I will remove them. JKW 19:05, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Handling imbalanced datasets
A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Handling imbalanced datasets, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. The Evil Spartan 15:44, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
- I would rather recommend adding a new section to the Data set article, and please be careful with self-citations. JKW 10:44, 11 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] References to your own books
If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Feature selection, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:
- editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with,
- participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors,
- linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
- and you must always:
- avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Business' FAQ. For more details about what constitutes a conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest. Thank you.
[edit] Repeated insertion of self-references
Please stop spamming Wikipedia with references to your own articles. It is unfair, unethical, and unhelpful. If you continue, I will refer you to an administrator who will consider banning this account. --Azazello 14:46, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Category:Category needed
Hi Kotsiantis, You have recently created some new articles without assigning them to appropriate categories. I have attempted to categorize some of them. Please review these categories and consider assigning categories yourself when you create further articles. --RichardVeryard 23:17, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Copyright violation in Forecasting fraudulent financial statements
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Forecasting fraudulent financial statements, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Forecasting fraudulent financial statements is unquestionably copyright infringement, and no assertion of permission has been made.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Forecasting fraudulent financial statements, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself.
