This is the userpage of Kotbot, a bot owned and maintained by Kotniski.
This is a general-purpose bot, intended to perform one-off tasks, such as moving articles between categories or creating sets of subcategories or stub articles. It is run manually, with a pre-prepared input file telling it what edits it needs to make. It then makes those edits automatically.
Initially it is planned for use with Polish geography articles (tidying categories, creating missing articles on municipalities and villages, based on Polish Wikipedia).

It is written in Python and uses the Python 2.5.1 libraries. Source code is available here.
