Kotovo

Kotovo (Russian: Котово, 50°19′N, 44°48′E) is a town in Volgograd Oblast, Russia and an administrative center of Kotovsky District.

It is located on a bank of Kazanka River (Don River's tributary), 229 km from Volgograd.

Population: 26,300 (2005 Est).

Kotovo was founded in 18's century and got a town status in 1966.
