Koti or Kothi is one of the most well-known commercial suburbs of Hyderabad, the capital city of Andhra Pradesh, India.
The area's name is derived from the word because of Kothi Residency, koti meaning a mansion, for the lavish mansion built in Victorian and Corinthian style once belonging to one of the city's wealthy British residents and which was, in 1949, converted into the campus of the Osmania University College for Women.

Koti is famous for Book business. A wide variety of book shops are located here. Bank Street at Koti, is a financial center of the Hyderabad city. Important national and private banks are located here like the Central bank, State Bank of India, and private banks like Andhra bank etc.
The famous Gokulchat restaurant, which was involved in the recent bombings is located at Koti. Gujrati galli(lane) present at Koti is known for electronic goods which are available at lower prices. Other businesses such textiles etc are also located here. Close to Koti is the Abids area, which is similar commercial area.

Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station located close to Koti is a major bus station, and its a road transport gateway to the city. This station is located across the Musi river. This bus station is said to be the largest in Asia, and provides transport to all parts of the state and country.
The local city Bus terminus is located adjacent to the Mahatma Bus station, providing connectivity to all parts of the city. Local autos, taxis, seven seaters autos also provide the much needed transport here.
The closest MMTS Train Station is at Kachiguda or Malakpet.
