Kotha Reddy Palem

Kotha Reddy Palem is located in the Addanki Mandal of Prakasam district near Singarakonda in Andhra Pradesh, India. Kotha Reddy Palem is located in 10 KM north side to the Addanki town. Singarakonda a famous Sri Prasannanjaneya Temple is located near the Kotha Reddy Palem village.

Kotha Reddy Palem village has very limited number of houses. Since the village site is very small, there is no separate Village Panchayat has been alloted to this village. Presently Kotha Reddy Palem is sharing its Panchayat with Singarakonda Palem village.

We can take this village as a model village, because even though all the village population are poor illiterates they are sending all the 100% children to various schools which are located around the village. Kotha Reddy Palem village has one Primary School. With the parents initiation children are today able to join in prestigious institutions at state and national level.

One can say that being a small village residing very little amound of people this village students are scattered across all kinds of education subjects. Starting from Politechnic, Social Sciences, Technological courses such as MCA, MBA and Engineering. One of the student from this village is now pursuing research in one of the very prestigious Indian Universities i.e., University of Hyderabad.

Agriculture is the main source of the Income. People mostly relay on money lenders because Banks which are located in the nearest town Addanki are not interested to give loans to this village people as they are serving to the nearest village Patha Reddy Palem.
