Kot Radha Kishan

Kot Radha Kishan is a town of Kasur District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. The town is administratively subdivided into two Union Councils.[1] It is part of Kasur Tehsil and is located at 31°10'21N 74°5'59E with an altitude of 193 metres (636 feet).[2]
The population of Kot Radha Kishan is about 50,000, with an annual growth rate of 2.7%, household size 7.4 and literacy rate is about 58%. The population of the surrounding villages of Kot Radha Kishan is about 60,000, with a literacy rate of about 35%. These surrounding villages are totally depending on Kot Radha Kishan in sense of Railway Station, Bus Stand, Post Office, Banks, Colleges, Girls High Schools, sub-division courts, crops and vegetable market and to buy the house hold items for their daily use.
The educated people of Kot Radha Kishan as well as surrounding villages are mostly depending on government as well as private jobs. Illiterate people of the town are working as workers in nearly industrial zone of Raiwind as well as in Lahore and illiterate from villages are depending on agriculture. Small numbers of people have power looms industries also in their homes. Politically it is divided in different parties and most of them are Pakistan People Party, Pakistan Muslim League (N), Pakistan Muslim League (Q) and Jamat-e-Islami.
Health facilities are available at the town as there is government run basic health centre and also a private hospital "Noor Hospital"where more than one dozen medical specialists visited from Lahore and provide consultation to the rural area patients on subsidies rates.
The Learning School (www.tls.edu.pk) is providing the quality education to the children of the area on non-profit basis.
