Kosuke Kindaichi

Kosuke Kinda'ichi (金田一 耕助 Kinda'ichi Kōsuke) is a famous fictional Japanese detective created by Seishi Yokomizo, a renowned mystery novelist.
Hajime Kinda'ichi (金田一一 Kinda'ichi Hajime), the main character of Kinda'ichi Case Files, is depicted as the grandson of Kosuke Kinda'ichi, without permission of Yokomizo's family. It's stated in one of Yokomizo's books, The Masked Party (仮面舞会). It mentioned that, Kosuke Kinda'ichi would often goes on summer vacation with his wife, son, and daughter-in-law, in a vacation mansion owned by his senior (南条诚一郎) in high school.
