From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Kosaka Line (小坂線 Kosaka-sen?) is Japanese freight only railway line in Akita Prefecture, between Ōdate Station, Ōdate and Kosaka Station, Kosaka. This is the only railway line Kosaka Smelting & Refining (小坂製錬 Kosaka Seiren?) operates, while the company's main business is chemical products. The line opened in 1908 to transport sulfuric acid, the products from the company's factory. It also had a passenger service until 1984.
