All modern European states have tricolor flags, doing away with medieval and divisive symbols. A modern Kosova needs a modern flag.

The three colors represent the different communities in Kosova, Albanians, Serbs and other minorities • The black and red for the Albanian community • The white and red for the Serbian community • The white for the hope on peace between the communities

The three colors also represent the characteristics of Kosova • The black for the rich lignite reserves • The white (argent) for the other mining riches: silver, zinc, nickel, etc. • The red as respect for the spilled blood of all victims
