[edit] Texas FM Road Shield Creation

I can make svgs of those Farm to Market road shields. If you have an article that needs a shield, I'll spit one out. Korranus 04:46, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Great job

Hey, great job on adding content to List of highways in Harris county and all the other roadway stuff you are doing, but just to let you know the standard size is 20 pixels Wikiproject USRD/INNA covers that type stuff. Feel free to join the USRD and Texas State Highway Wikiproject. I'm slowly trying to get the Greater Houston counties at least started where people can come and fill in the blanks, like you did. Feel free to make more lists if you know the roads well, or if you have a source of info by county, please share. And I'm glad to see someone else trying to make signs, there is never enough people to get them done. The USRD:WP also has a small group that does it, if you have any questions you can ask them. If you need anything just hollar.Feedloadr 03:41, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Farm to Market Road 390

The brown shield caught my eye. Do you have a reference that says that the shields are that color? Is the entire route designated a scenic route, is the entire route signed with the brown shields or is a portion use the black shields? Are there any other scenic routes in Texas that use the brown shields? --Holderca1 13:35, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

  • The whole road was designated as a scenic route by the Texas Legislature in 1995. As a result, the entire road has brown FM shields along with a SCENIC plate (looks like an alternate or business plate) on the top which I'm trying to figure out how to make now.

Transportation Code Chapter 225 Subchapter A outlines the different special roads. I'll add that as a source, I just ran out of steam last night :(

And as far as I know, it's the only officially signed scenic route in the state. And believe me, it is scenic. Amazing country up there. --Korranus 20:57, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Woodlands

Great job on The Woodlands, Texas! Postoak 02:33, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

I breezed through it, can tell it lost a bunch but it looks great, it probably needed some fat cut out anyway. Great job on it.Feedloadr 03:17, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
