With other cultures that put the family name before the given name, it's seen to be clear enough to write the name Western style followed by the name in the native script and a transliteration set off by parentheses. So is this necessary? 76.106.103.106 00:23, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
- The situation with Chinese names is similar; see {{Chinese name}}. Japanese names are written as you describe, but in Korea and China it is more customary to write the name in its proper order, regardless of the writing system used.
