No region(s) in the internationally recognised borders of Croatia could be said in an encyclopedia that they were 'defended' by an occupying army with support from Belgrade. It is customary to use words like "occupy," "held," "seized," etc. This is like saying after the Occupation of Poland (1939–1945), that the Germans were "defending" it after the Poles fought back. Therfore, it would not be appropriate unless you are Milan Martic to say Kordun was "defended". --Jesuislafete (talk) 03:32, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
