Kornstad

Kornstad is a former municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway.
It was created by a split from Kvernes on January 1, 1897. At that time Kornstad had a population of 1,599.
On 1 January 1964 the district of Vevang with 562 inhabitants was incorporated into Eide municipality. The rest of Kornstad, with 1,356 inhabitants, was incorporated into Averøy.
