Kori Rotti
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Kori rotti is a popular Mangalorean dish, a combination of red chili-based chicken curry and crispy crackling dry bread made from rice flakes. This is somewhat similar to the Arabic tashreeb -- the crispy khubz seasoned in spiceless thin chicken gravy. Kori rotti is a traditional dish of the Tuluvas [Tulu speaking Mangaloreans] and served at weddings, parties and special occasions.
It is sometimes accompanied by idli, dosa, neer dosa and apam.
