Korea Nazarene University is a Christian institute of higher education located in Cheonan, Republic of Korea.
Though it celebrated its fiftieth anniversary in 2007, the university first gained the status of being a four-year college in 1992 (http://www.kornu.ac.kr/kornu/eng/01_about/03_purpose.html). In 1993, the Nazarene Theological College Press was established. In 1994 and 1995, a number of new departments were added (ibid.). Today it claims to be "Asia's leading university in terms of rehabilitation and social welfare divisions" (http://www.kornu.ac.kr/kornu/eng/01_about/05_history.html). The university's basic goals are "Quest for Truth," "Devotional Living," and "Love in Practice" (http://www.kornu.ac.kr/kornu/eng/01_about/03_purpose.html). Korea Nazarene University (KNU) has seven divisions: Social Welfare & Department of Child Studies, Theology, Rehabilitation, International Language & Business Administration, Field of Special Education & Department of Police Admission [Administration?], Information & Multimedia, and Music & Design {http://www.kornu.ac.kr/kornu/eng/02_academic/04_division_international.html}. KNU also has three graduate programs: Theology, Rehabilitation, and Education.
