Korea-Japan Talks

Korea-Japan Talks refer to a series of bilateral talks held between the South Korea and Japan from October 1951 to June 1965 in order to normalize diplomatic ties. On June 22, 1965, the two countries signed the Treaty on Basic Relations between Japan and the Republic of Korea.
Over the period of 14 years, a total of seven talks were held and the 1965 Treaty on Basic Relations between Japan and the Republic of Korea reopened diplomatic relations between the two countries.

한일회담
1951년 10월이래 1965년 6월 22일 한일기본조약이 체결되기까지 한일 국교 정상화를 위하여 열린 일련의 한·일 양국간의 회담.
1952~1965년에 7차에 걸쳐 이루어진, 한일 국교 정상화를 위한 두 나라 사이의 외교 교섭. 1965년에 한일 기본 조약이 조인됨으로써 양국의 국교가 재개되었다.
