[edit] Corporate History
The firm was formed after founding partners Mark Korda and Mark Mentha left significant roles with the accounting and consultancy firm Arthur Andersen and started their own business[1][2].
The two principals, Messers Korda and Mentha had been originally appointed when working for Arthur Andersen as receivers for Ansett Australia. However at some point during the transaction and after Ansett MkII was deemed to be no longer viable after the withdrawal of the Tesna Consortium (Led by Solomon Lew and Lindsay Fox), they then split from Arthur Andersen to form KordaMentha and continue the administration and liquidation of Ansett Australia
Since formation, the company has been involved in a number of significant corporate recovery transactions within Australia including the receivership of the Westpoint Group and the Cross City Tunnel[3].
