Korçë District

The District of Korçë (Albanian: Rrethi i Korçës), is one of the thirty-six districts of Albania. According to the latest census, 215,221 people lived in the Korce District. Of these 210,515 were Albanians, 4,361 were Macedonians, 158 were Greeks and 187 others.

It has an area of 2,180 km², being the second-largest district in Albania.

It lies in the southeastern part of Albania in the County of Korçë, from lat. 40.45/40°27'N to lat. 40.95/40°57'N and from long. 21.0833/21°4'E to 20.31667/20°19'E, and its capital is Korçë.

It is bordered by Pogradec and the Republic of Macedonia to the north, by Greece with the Greek prefecture of Florina (Greek Macedonia) to the east, Devoll to the southeast, by Kolonjë and Përmet to the southwest, and by Gramsh and Skrapar on the west. Other towns in this district include Maliq.And the best Vilage i would recomend is Lumalas !
