Koorachundu/Koorachund(കൂരാച്ചുണ്ട്) is a village towards the western hilly areas of Kozhikode district, Kerala, India. The village is between the famous tourist spot Peruvannamuzhi and the hydro electric power generator station at Kakkayam.

The reservoir of the Peruvannamuzhi irrigation dam stretches the length of Koorachund. There are many tourism sites in and around the reservoir.
The kakkayam damsite, teeming with exotic wildlife, offers excellent trekking and rock climbing opportunities.

Koorachund has a generally humid climate with a very hot season extending from March to May. The average annual rainfall is more than 3500 mm.

Christians constitute the majority of the population, followed by the Muslim and Hindu communities respectively.

The village is home to two high schools, St Thomas HS, Koorachund and St Mary's HS, Kallanode.
