Kooperativa Förbundet, KF (The Cooperative Federation), is a Swedish cooperative organization formed in 1899. It is historically closely tied to the Swedish Trade Union Confederation, LO, and to the Swedish Social Democratic Party.
Kooperativa Förbundet previously ran several Swedish supermarkets and food stores. In 1999 KF formed the retail chain Coop Norden along with its Nordic cooperative counterparts, Danish FDB and Norwegian Coop NKL. KF owns 42% of Coop Norden. In Sweden Coop Norden runs several retail stores, such as Coop Forum, Coop Konsum, Coop Extra, Coop Nära and Coop Bygg
