[edit] Sources for Turner D. Century
Hello, good work on Turner D. Century, and thanks for the contribution. However, you forgot to add any references to the article. Keeping Wikipedia accurate and verifiable is very important, and there is currently a push to encourage editors to cite the sources they used when adding content. From what websites, books, or other places did you learn the information that you added to Turner D. Century? Would it be possible for you to mention them in the article? You can simply add links, or there are several different citation methods list at WP:CITET. Thanks! — BRIAN0918 • 2005-12-4 20:46
[edit] Again Dangerous Visions
I suspect that an admin will be needed to disentangle this because I think the book title has the comma, but the page that Konczewski created does not have to comma. Currently there is a circular redirect from Dangerous Visions. Hu 20:41, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
Thanks, but your change doesn't fix it. The problem is that the article title has no comma, and a comma is needed. Ordinarily one would move that article name, but in this case there is a redirect blocking the path. Hu 21:06, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Comment Regarding Love That Dare to Speak Its Name / Major Cheese
Hi Konczewski, two days ago (February 17th), you blanked the article Love That Dare to Speak Its Name / Major Cheese with an edit summary as follows: (duplicate article for The Love that dare/Major Cheese; needs deleting). However, I am unable to find the duplicate article that you mentioned. Also, it may be better to make that page a redirect instead of blanking it (For instructions, see here), as blank pages... well.. suck. Just wanted to let you know =) Happy editing! There has been a suggestion that perhaps we should limit ourselves to giving only the birth year of a living person, rather than their entire birth date. This is not official policy, but it has been discussed on the talk page of WP:BLP and it seems like a good idea to me. One of the reasons for this is to prevent identity fraud. It just seems like there is little need for us to publicize the full date, even though it is available elsewhere. If you still think the full birth date would be better, then let's take this discussion to the Article Talk page to let others have a chance to comment. Johntex\talk 22:41, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Question about biotag
Copied from Lincher's talk page.
Hi, I can see you've been quite busy tagging new biography articles. I'm not really clear if you're expecting a reply or not. Do we, the original article authors, need to respond to you, or to put a comment in the article's discussion area, or what? The sudden and ominous appearance of the biotag makes me think I've done something wrong.Konczewski 11:07, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
- In short, you don't have to reply. In long, the comment section is a comment I should be filling up but since I tag articles one after the other, I don't have the time to go through the whole article and read and find all the mistakes. For this reason I only add a tag to associate the article in question with the biography project in order to have all the biographies in one place and for that matter we have to assess all the biographies. If you need comments on the article in question, or are unhappy with the rating of an article, you can request comments on my talk page and will gladly answer on the article's talk/comment page. [edit] Reiko Ike
Hi! I see your bot has tagged my article on Reiko Ike as a start class. I was hoping that you could add some suggestions at the talk page so that I could improve the article. Thanks in advance for your help. Konczewski 22:39, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
- My bot isn't clever enough to assess articles, but it would be cool if it was :) The assessment was done by User:Doctor Sunshine. If you'd like to get some feedback on your article, please ask at Wikipedia:WikiProject Biography/Peer review. --kingboyk 22:45, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
