[edit] Ever known as "Konstanz am Bodensee"?

A documentary reference to one Chaim-Herman-Heymann Chone, who served as a Jewish chaplain in the Imperial German Army and was decorated with the Iron Cross, places him in or about 1910 as "Chief Rabbi of the Konstanz am Bodensee district" [sic]. Was the district of Konstanz, or similar administrative division, ever known by that or a similar name?[-- Thanks, Deborahjay (talk) 12:35, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
