[edit] Natural Environment
The school has 2 ponds on its campus which are recognised reservations by the WWF. The ponds are used for educational purposes and they provide a habitat for a variety of species. The maintenance is done by the students as seen on the picture.
[edit] Tradition

Students participate in a 15km marathon through the center of Bruges.
[edit] Multicultural Day
The school organises a multicultural day where they put the emphasis on one part of the world. The students can participate in workshops, prepare a school meal, and so on.
[edit] Theatre and Movies
The students go see an educational movie and go see a play.
[edit] Yule
On the last day of the year the school holds a breakfast in the morning. Then the students go ice skating. After lunch there are Yule festivities like poetry, singing, dialogues, etc...
[edit] 100 Days
The 6th graders have a party or hold festivities when there are only 100 school days left.
[edit] Vijverpop
The students of the 5th and 6th grade organize an annual festival named Vijverpop. The festival is a benefit to the Kinderkankerfonds vzw (a charity organization for children who suffer from cancer).
Vijverpop had 3 successful years:
- 2004
- 2005 (with bands like :Flatcat, Nailpin, Newgate Potential,La Mescla, All I Know,...)
- 2006 (with bands like :Liar, Newgate Potential, Chimaera, Crossfire, Dishwater,...)
- 2008 (with bands like :Waxdolls, Lady Vortex, Murdock, Wisdom in Chains, Settle the Score,Omerta,...)
Due to a low spirit in the 6th grade the 2007 edition has been cancelled but it isn't the end of the festival.[1]The next generation of 6th and 5th graders are very eagered to organize the next vijverpop edition in 2009.
