It is located 7 km from Khed taluka.To reach here one has to cross the bridge over jagbudi river and pass through villages namely bhoste, arsure and nilik.

Kondivali is 7 km away from Khed while shiv is 3 km to the north.

The muslims are the Landlords here but now most of them work abroad in the countries like Kuwait, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, United Kingdom, and many more. Many of them are also working in India. Other sects are engaged in agriculture and service.

Road transportation is available around the clock. Rickshaw and private cars are available from Safa masjid chok in Khed. It takes appox 20 minutes from khed.

Kondivali consists of about 200 homes with a population of above 1000 approx. Dominated by the community surname Potrick. Here main religions are Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism. All live in Communal harmony

Kondivalihas 1 Urdu primary school and 1 Marathi secondary school and a madrasa for studing quran for girls.

Kondivali has an active Grampranchayat role in its development. It has a Dam which helps in irrigation not only in kondivali as well as in other neigboring villages. It has access to cable network, mobile phones network, mobile internet connection. It has sub post office. 100% of the houses are provided with electricity.
