Kondapuram is a small Town and is located on the bank of river Chitravathi at the western area of Kadapa district. It is located at a distance of 25 km from Tadpatri of Anantapur District.
Kondapuram Railway Station is on the Cuddapah-Gooty section of the South Central Railways. Mumbai-Chennai Express, Mumbai-Kanyakumari Express, Venkatadri Express, Rayalaseema Express, Haripriya Express and Tirupati-Guntakal Passenger are the main trains that pass through this station. Muddanuru Railway Station is 23 km to the south-east of Kondapuram. Traveling north-west, Tadpatri Railway Station is 28 km away.

Koduru is a small village and is located on the southern bank of river Penna at the extreme western area of Kadapa district. It is located at a distance of 15 km from Tadpatri of Anantapur District.
