Konangi is a Tamil writer. Born and lives in Kovilpatti, Southern Tamilnadu. He has published five short story collections and two novels. Extremely dense imageries and emphasis on language rather than the plot as major prop for his fiction makes his later works a difficult read for an average reader who is not familiar with the much less popular 'serious writing' in Tamil.
