Hideki Matsui, a current player for the New York Yankees, was born and raised there. A museum dedicated to him is located in Komatsu.
It is NOT true. His birthplace is Neagari, Ishikawa, very next to Komatsu but NOT there. --Takot 06:46, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
