Kompally is a suburb on the outskirts of Hyderabad, India
It is one of the fastest growing suburbs in Hyderabad with landmarks like Runway - 9, Satyam Computers, Apparel Export Park, Sherwood Public School and Dhola-ri-Dhani operating in full swing.It comes under HUDA(Hyderabad Urban Development Area).
The land value here is quite high. One of the multiplexes of Hyderabad, Cine Planet is situated here.
The famous Basar - Saraswathi temple is a 4 1/2 hour drive from here.

The shopping centers that have come up recently are really good.
This place is agog with a lot of construction activity by some very reputed builders adding to the already heated property prices of Hyderabad. It is certainly building up to a scenario where supply will surpass demand considering the fact that there is hardly any open spaces available within the reach of the middle class.
The place has its advantages like breathing space, shopping and entertainment arcades which provides the much needed relief for the locals in and around Kompally for bypassing the traffic chaos of the HITECH City. Also, Kompally is close to Hitech city through an alternative route and would come around 18 km. Hence, many people working in IT fraternity are choosing to stay at Kompally

APSRTC runs buses to connect to various parts of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. There are lot of Auto Rickshaws plying, is another cheaper option.
The closest MMTS Train station is at Bollarum.

The main colonies are Central Park, Satyam enclave, Devender Colony, Srinivas Nagar Colony, Bank Colony, Jayabheri Park the largest among being Jayabheri Park next to which is Devender Colony followed by Central Park,Bank Colony and SN colony.
