Komori Yoichi (小森 陽一? born 1953 in Tokyo, Japan) is one of the most creative and independent critics of Japanese Modern Literature.[citation needed] He spent seven years of his childhood in Prague due to his diplomat father's mission. He is mostly known for his controversial approaches on Natsume Sōseki and other major Japanese literati. Komori is a professor at the University of Tokyo.
