The Komatsu 930E is notable for being one of the largest models of trucks ever manufactured.[2] [3] It is a hybrid vehicle whose wheels are driven by alternating current electric motors, like the slightly larger Liebherr T 282B. Older technology large trucks, like the Caterpillar 797B have their diesel motors connected to their driving wheels through a traditional mechanical transmission and drive train.
