[edit] KoldFire
I noticed you removed the {{music-importance}} tag from KoldFire, but you did not expand the article to include information that makes it clear whether the subject meets the WikiProject Music criteria for importance. For guidelines, see the Wikipedia music notability guidelines. Also, did you know that creating an article about yourself is strongly discouraged? Please be careful to be neutral when writing about yourself. I'm assuming, based on your username, that you are the subject of the KoldFire article; is this correct? Thanks. --Geniac 13:03, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
Actually i'm not, KoldFire is a local rapper from my area in London, and im a big fan of his. I'm a friend of a friend of his, so i know about him and i made a wiki page about him because locally he is seen as a future talent. I'm working on writing pages about upcoming talent in the London music scene, so please don't delete my work as i am contributing to Wikipedia, not taking away from it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by KoldFire (talk • contribs) 09:30, September 22, 2006
Thank you for clarifying that you are not the KoldFire. Since you have done so, I don't care one way or the other, but if he ever becomes very well-known, somebody may mention the inappropriate usernames policy, which states, "Wikipedia does not allow certain types of usernames, including [...] Names of well-known living or recently deceased people unless you are that living person." Again, I don't care since you've directly stated that you are not him, but somebody else might. Regarding deleting your work, I don't recall doing so and don't intend to; I'm just a WikiFairy. --Geniac 16:29, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
When, not if, he becomes very well known, i would gladly relinquish my username. Thank you for the heads up.
