[edit] Koingo Software
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Koingo Software, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.versiontracker.com/developer/868/koingo+software. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 19:09, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy deletion of Koingo Software
A tag has been placed on Koingo Software, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Juliancolton Tropical Cyclone 19:20, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Welcome!
Welcome!
Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:
- The Five Pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Editing tutorial
- Picture tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Naming conventions
- Manual of Style
Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:
- Respect intellectual property rights - do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view when editing articles - this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such information or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism, doing so will result your account being blocked from editing.
The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! [edit] Removing Speedy Deletion Tags
Hi there, please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles, if your article does in fact not meet the criteria for speedy deletion, it will not be deleted, but that is for an admin to decide and as such I ask you not to remove the Speedy Tags from the article. Thanks and All the Best, Mifter (talk) 19:46, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Erasing warnings is not cool
I have reverted the record of user warnings issued by other editors. Erasing these is futile and seen as acting in bad faith. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 19:47, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] June 2008
Please stop. If you continue to add promotional material to Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 19:53, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you use Wikipedia for advertising, you will be blocked from editing. What do you not understand about not using Wikipedia to promote your company? - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 19:58, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- Don't add it again dude. We're not your webhost. If it pops up again, I'll block your account. Cheers, Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 19:59, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- This is often not a reflection on the user, and you are encouraged to choose a new account name which does meet our guidelines and are invited to contribute to Wikipedia under an appropriate username. If you feel this block was made in error, you may quickly and easily appeal it - see below.
Our username policy provides guidance on selecting your username. In brief, usernames should not be offensive, disruptive, promotional, related to a 'real-world' group or organization, confusing, or misleading.
If you have already made edits and wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name you may request a change in username. To do so, please follow these directions:
-
- Add {{unblock-un|your new username here}} below. This is possible because even when you are blocked, you can still edit your own talk page.
- At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
- Please note, you may only request a name that is not already in use. The account is created upon acceptance – do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change since we can far easier allocate your new name to you, if it is not yet used. Usernames that have already been taken are listed here. For more information, please visit Wikipedia:Changing username. Keep in mind, though, that creating a new account is much faster and easier.
OK, Koingosw, your page is unprotected. You can make a case. You've been slightly railroaded in my opinion. Please let us know why you think you should have your article here (simply putting an article back after deletion generally garners the reaction you just got, so don't do that again.) Do you have any links to the "reviews" of the software that you claim exist? Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 20:29, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- Not to mention that this edit was justified, no doubt in response to the deletions though. Bringing things to ANI has a kind of corrosive effect sometimes. Blocks for repeated recreation are supposed to be temporary. But the account should be renamed anyway if the user wants to edit again. And by the way, a user can remove a warning, it's in the userpage guideline at WP:UP#CMT. This is forgotten too many times and we see the result. Cenarium (talk) 16:33, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] adding to Keeper76's question...
Hey! Your article was speedily deleted as blatant advertising because, if the text as written doesn't make a reasonable assertion of significance (and there is no other evidence of significance to be had in the text), the article likely will not meet Wikipedia's notability standards and is presumed to be an attempt to use Wikipedia as an advertising platform. Also, since your user name is a contraction of your company name, there were worries about conflict of interest straight off.
Your company may have one or two notable products, I don't know yet and other editors may have to agree in consensus about that. Please take a moment to read this short page about why your article got deleted.
If you would like help, please reply either here or on my talk page. All the best, Gwen Gale (talk) 20:31, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
