Koit Toome

Koit Toome, born in 1979 in the Estonian SSR is an Estonian singer and musical actor.
His musical career began in 1995 as part of a highly successful pop duo Code One.
In 1998 Koit Toome represented Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest, held in Birmingham that year, and went on to record his debut solo album of mostly self penned material a year later.
The new millennium mark another point of turn to his career, the musical theatre. His roles have included male lead parts of Tanz der Vampire, Les Miserables, Miss Saigon, West Side Story and Chess.
Koit Toome often performs and has tours with Maarja-Liis Ilus, his long time partner on stage. According to the Estonian tabloid press, however, Koit Toome has been single and looking for past few years.
