Koilwar

Koilwar is a city and a notified area in Bhojpur district in the Indian state of Bihar.
Koilwar is on the river Sone. This village also has a steel rail road bridge made before independence. The bridge is shown in the film Gandhi. The water of the river Sone is still quenching the thirst of a lot of villagers. This village also has a renowned TB hospital.

As of 2001 India census[1], Koilwar had a population of 19,925. Males constitute 61% of the population and females 39%.
