Koichi Shibata

Koichi Shibata is a Japanese aikido teacher. He holds the rank of 7th dan in the Aikikai.
He is the founder and head of Seiwakai Aikido and was one of the senior students of Shoji Nishio. At present, Koichi Shibata teaches at the Aikikai Hombu Dojo, the Nippon Budokan, and at the Sumitomo Corporation.
