Kohachi Shigetaka

Kohachi Shigetaka (重高 小八, May 10, 1895 – July 3, 2005) was a supercentenarian and the oldest man in Japan from July 2004 until his death from pneumonia. He died at the age of 110 years and 54 days. Japan's oldest man on record is Shigechiyo Izumi, who died in 1986, allegedly 120 years old.
