sorry, i do not think this is blatent advertising, how is this different to articles posted on netezza, greenplum, oracle corporation and all the other companies linked to from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_relational_database_management_systems? If you delete the article on Kognitio and WX2, then surely you must also question the relevance of posting information about other companies?
Hi; baisically I (and other Wikipedia editors) judged that the Kognitio company fail WP:CORP, our guidelines on which companies and products should/should not have articles. The article failed to demonstrate how the company does fulfill these (if you think it can, then please add some soruces to this page to prove so).
Furthermore, the fact that the article was created and edited almost entirely by yourself - obviously someone from the company - does not do it any favours (see WP:SELF for our guidelines on writing about yourself or your own company).
The fact that other companies etc. have articles is not necessairily considered in the deletion of a paticular article. --Robdurbar 23:01, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
