Kofi Martin Ampomah

Captain Kofi Martin Ampomah is a retired airline pilot who is now head of the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority.
He was born in Ghana in 1933 and attended Achimota College, one of the most prestigious boarding schools in Ghana. On graduation he undertook training to become an airline pilot.
From Ghana Airways, he moved to KLM and finally Malaysian Airlines where he finished his career. On returning to his farm in Ghana he was appointed as an advisor for the Civil Aviation Authority before rising to his current position. He is now fully retired
He was not involved in the liquidation of Ghana Airways
