Koduvila, a beautiful piece of land in the lap of Ashtamudi Lake which lies near to Mundro Island and Chittumala in East-Kallad, Kollam , Kerala in India. It shares it's boundaries with Shingarappally and Munroe Island. Presence of Kallada River at it's boundary makes it a fertile land.
The name Koduvila shows the number of 'vila' (means farmland in Malayalam) in that place. Thathampallivila, Pallivila etc are the famous farmlands inside Koduvila.
Landmarks in Koduvila includes St.Francis Church, St.Elias Church, St.Francis UP School, Koduvila Rural School and Upaharamatha Hospital.
Koduvila attracts a large number of Tourists from all over the world because of it's untamed natural beauty and the famous wooden fishing boats.
