Daimon of Kodo-kai

The Second Kōdō-kai (二代目弘道会 Nidaime Kōdō-kai) is a boryokudan (yakuza group) based in Nakamura-ku, Nagoya, Japan. It is a secondary organization of the Sixth Yamaguchi-gumi (六代目山口組), Japan's most powerful yakuza syndicate. With an estimated membership of 4,000, it is the second-largest Yamaguchi affiliate (after the Yamaken-gumi) and operates in 18 prefectures.

The Kodo-kai was founded in June 1984 by Shinobu Tsukasa (司忍) who had been the no.2 leader of the former Hirota-gumi (弘田組). At this time, Tsukasa became a formal member of the Fourth Yamaguchi-gumi (四代目山口組).

When the Fifth Yamaguchi-gumi (五代目山口組) started in May 1989, Tsukasa assumed the position of wakagashira-hosa (若頭補佐 eldest son's assistant).

Kiyoshi Takayama (髙山清司) was promoted from wakagashira (若頭 eldest son) to the 2nd kaicho (会長) of the Kodo-kai in March, 2005. Takayama is the group's current kaicho. At this time, Tsukasa formed the Hirota-gumi (弘田組).

Takayama became a formal member of the Fifth Yamaguchi-gumi in April, 2005, and assumed the position of wakagashira-hosa in June, 2005. And when Tsukasa became kumicho (Godfather) of the Sixth Yamaguchi-gumi in July 2005, his Kodo-kai partner Takayama was given the position of wakagashira (若頭) on August 8.

1st (1984-2005): Shinobu Tsukasa (司忍), also wakagashira-hosa of the Fifth Yamaguchi-gumi and 1st kumicho (組長) of the Tsukasa-kogyo (司興業). He would later become kumicho of the Hirota-gumi and kumicho of the Sixth Yamaguchi-gumi.
2nd (2005-): Kiyoshi Takayama (髙山清司) who is wakagashira of the Sixth Yamaguchi-gumi and sosai (総裁) of the Second Takayama-gumi (二代目髙山組. He was 1st kumicho of it), and former rijicho (理事長 chief director) of Ryoshin-kai (菱心会).
