Kodad or Kodada is a town in the Nalgonda district of Andhra Pradesh, India(South). It is located on the National Highway 9 in between Hyderabad and Vijayawada.
Nagarjuna Sagar left canal is the right source for cultivation, there is no florine effect at ground water, Basic economic growth for kodad is cultivation of paddy, vegatables, production of cement. Kodad was teshsil/taluka/Mondal for 28 near by villages, Previously Kodad was under Huzurnagar Assembly Constitution, Now Kodad is one of the Assembly constitution in Nalgonda district, and situated in Miryalaguda Parliament constituion.
