Kochanoor is a village in Thrissur district of Kerala, south India. It is situated at Vadakkekad Grama panchayat of Chavakkad a small town in Thrissur district. Before Indian independence, Kochanoor was the border of the old provinces of Malabar and Thirukochi. This place shares its border with Vazhakkayi, Kadappayi, Chakkithara, Palakkuzhi and Anhilakkadavu farms. Guruvayoor and Kunnamkulam are the nearby places.
