[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:St. Cronan's.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:St. Cronan's.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. [edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Cronan's New School.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:Cronan's New School.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 02:02, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyrights
Just a note, when you're uploading images, select in the licensing list "I release this image into the public domain" to avoid any of the above notices! (I've fixed the images you've already uploaded.) --Schcambo (talk) 18:15, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- Yup, six years now, but I also did some work experience there two years ago. Never had you as a teacher but would've known you from collecting the tea money!! --Schcambo (talk) 20:26, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

- Ha ha yeah, found it was a great way to get off class! Don't worry, it was always above board (for the teachers we liked) ! Ní thaitníonn m'ainm a chur amach ar an suíomh seo liom, ach, cuir sé sa bhealach seo, is é mo leasainm ar Bebo an ceann céanna is a bhfuil agam anseo, so tá sé.. le fáil má dteastaíonn sé uait!! --Schcambo (talk) 10:29, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy deletion of Giltspur a.v.
A tag has been placed on Giltspur a.v. requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit] Little Flower Hall
Why do you feel that this deserves an article of its own? What could possibly be said that could not be put in a line on the article about the school? J Milburn (talk) 11:53, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
- Why is it of enormous historical importance? What importance does it have independent of the school? Do you have any reliable sources? J Milburn (talk) 12:15, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] St. / Saint
Convention is to use the full name, but if you do want to change it to the short version, first you should place a Template:Db-move tag on St. Cronan's Boys National School, i.e. {{db-move|Saint Cronan's Boys National School}}. This will move the Saint page to the St. one, but will also preserve the page history, which a copy-and-paste move doesn't. --Schcambo (talk) 12:06, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
- Google hasn't cached the page yet - meaning the page literally isn't a part of Google's search engine yet because it's so new - so when you search "Saint Cronan's", it's bringing up that old page which was created a few months ago (see the current cache). If you wait a day or two, then it should start coming up at both names! --Schcambo (talk) 12:20, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 12:14, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:Cronan's Science Award.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Cronan's Science Award.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 15:05, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Holy Redeemer Church
Another editor has added the {{prod}}
template to the article Holy Redeemer Church, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}}
template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. BJBot (talk) 18:01, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Just a note..
1. The apostrophe must be there: "boys" is not an adjective, and the absense of the apostrophe implies such. That's why we have, for example, Category:Boys' schools in Ireland, Ladies' Gaelic football, Women's Australian rules football, and so on. It's all at WP:MOS if you'd like a long read!
2. If you are moving pages again, see WP:MOVE. Copy-and-paste is not the correct way.
3. You shouldn't create a redirect based on every single possible misspelling of a name; if someone has misspelt it, then the search tool will simply bring up the right page.
Any questions, just ask. --Schcamboaon scéal? 18:07, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
