KOBIC

KOBIC stands for the Korean Bioinformation Center. It is a kind of NCBI of USA in Korea. It is like EBI in Europe.
KOBIC was originally established as NGIC (National Genome Information Center) in 2001 in Korea. In 2006, its function has been extended to include biodiversity and bioresource information management and a new name KOBIC was born.
It has around 50 bioinformatists with various web sites. Its home page is at http://www.kobic.re.kr/
